Franchise First Pick Lost Clarification for 2012-13

When  a player is Franchised and won, the first pick you have on the board at the time of franchising is lost. If you get picks earlier after the franchise date they are not.

2012 Season begins... NOW!

Hey Gang, 

The price list is now up and official which marks the beginning of our 2012 season. Trading my now begin.

Please don't forget that everyone except for Arian Foster is available for trade on my team. Especially Tim Tebow.

New Rules Update

• The buy-in price on draft day is $100. (2012)
  
• Beginning with the 2013 Season the 6 non-playoffs teams will be placed in an NBA style lottery for draft order.  
• 1 thru 9 are written on 9 separate cards, and 3 are drawn out in succession. the order in which you draw doesn't matter, ie 2-7-9 is the same as 9-2-7. when you do this, there are 84 total combinations. so the combinations are split up between the 6 non playoff teams. worst team gets 42 combos, 2nd to last gets 20, etc.. then we draw 3 times, for the first, second, and third overall draft pick. picks #4-#6 would just go in order of worse remaining teams record.
  
• Beginning in 2014, any team that wins a franchise player loses their first round pick for that same year.
•  This means if you do not have a first round pick, you can not franchise for that year.
• Also, if you win the bid for someone else’s franchise player, you’re first round pick for that year goes to the owner that you took the player from.
  
• Payouts as follows (2012):

  1st: $650 

  2nd: $275 

  3rd: $125 

  4th: $75 

  5th: $50 

  6th: $25

Clarifying the N/A Rule

With everyone anxiously watching the Vincent Jackson situation I thought I would take a moment to clarify the rule.

If the player is N/A due to a contract issue, not being on a team, or some sort of roster issue then the N/A rule comes in to effect.

If the player is suspended or injured and listed as N/A then the commissioner's will exempt him and allow him to stay on the roster.

Since Vincent Jackson is a contract holdout, he is considered falling under the N/A rule.

Kicker Pricing

The price of kickers on your current roster has been adjusted to be in line with what their value would have been if the current scoring system was in place last year.

Also, some kicker prices have been updated.

Next Year's Salary Cap and Cut Price

3 Changes for next year (2010):

1. The Salary beginning with next season will be $250.
2. cut salary for protecting players prior to the 2010 season will be $125. This is a change from the previous post below where I said that it would remain $115 until the following off-season.
3. Kicker points will be basically cut in half for next year.
