Also a few more things:
First thing, an additional reason for the extra players:
RB: as more and more teams have switched to RB by committee, starting two running backs is more inline with the nature of the NFL and balances out RB scoring a little bit better.
WR: since we don't carry a tight end on our team, just opening it up to a third receiver is once again more in line with the NFL and allowing full scoring potential.
Secondly:
This doesn't take place until the 2010 draft. Sanjay,if you could privately send me an email on how this effects the moves you made I would be open to discussion. If you want to make it the group it's fine too.
Thirdly:
I just want to point out this "Sunil and Neil's League" comments is misguided (and I'm not referring to Sanjay's email here, just some behind the back commentators). I know some of you want to portray our decision as a loss of opinion, and no matter time how many times and how many ways we've said otherwise you still hold on to this belief. I understand it's easier to approach this situation this way. It's easier to pout and spew angry little barbs anonomously than have a civilized conversation. Well a loss of voting is not the same as a loss of opinion. No one has been told not to say what's on their mind. No one has been told that their opinions don't matter. The only thing we did was take away the fact that voting on every issue will no longer be allowed. If you have concerns or opinions we are more then open to hear it. And while you're at it, say it to our face or at least sign the comments on the blog. Grow a pair and deal with us as opposed to this underhanded and immature behavior that we're going to do everything secretively. I don't even understand the secretive nature of it. So if people want to continue this behavior, really we can't do anything to stop it. I guess I just wish someone would explain to me the underhanded behavior of it.
